All Microsoft Office products have a very clever way of getting round the problem of having typed something completely in capital letters without having realised it and want to convert it into lower case without retyping it. In order to do so you can either:


a) Highlight the text that you want to decapitalise or capitalise and press SHIFT * F3


b) OR AND WE PREFER THIS you can highlight the text you want to adjust and press this button on Word or any Office Product.
